Child Support & Modifications

Child Support in the state of Florida is determined by child support guidelines set by the Florida Statutes. It uses a formula to calculate the amount of support. This formula will take into account each parent’s income, needs of the child (i.e. daycare), health insurance, and the amount of time each parent spends with the child.

There are a number of issues one can have concerning Child Support such as:

•method of payment?

•amount of support?

•when child support needs to be increased or decreased?
